Details of the women’s bodies discovered along a 15-kilometre stretch of the R21 freeway corridor and the Rhodesfield precinct between 15 July and 14 September have been made available by the IOL Crime Desk.

All of the victims were under the age of 40. The incidents appear to share some similarities. Although some suspects linked to earlier cases are in police custody, concerns remain over the continued pattern of violence against women in the area.

While police have not declared that a serial killer is operating in the area, the similarities between the cases have raised concerns about a possible connection.
