Mawat is an award-winning rapper, musician, producer, and presenter specializing in AmaPiano and Hip-Hop music. Hailing from Durban, South Africa, he has been nominated for the AGMA Awards (UK) and the South African Music Awards (SAMAs), and has won multiple Crown and Ingoma Awards.
As a seasoned producer, Mawat has created music featured on popular shows like Rhythm City (eTV), Isidingo (SABC3), and even a theme song for DStv. He has performed alongside notable artists such as Sun-EL, K.O, Kwesta, and Grammy-winning U.S. rapper Lecrae.
