Lerato Moela is a popular South African lawyer, fraud investigator, internal auditor, and counsel representing Thabo Bester in court. Lerato was admitted as an advocate of the High Court of South Africa, and he is a member of the Johannesburg Bar, under the Duma Nokwe Group of Advocates in Sandton.

Lerato Moela hails from Thohoyandou, South Africa. Thohoyandou is a town in Limpopo, South Africa. It is the administrative center of Vhembe and Thulamela Municipalities. It is also known for being the former capital of the bantustan of Venda. Thohoyandou’s name means “head of the elephant” in the Venda language and was the name of one of the VhaVenda kings.

Lerato Moela completed his secondary education at Mphaphuli Secondary School in Thohoyandou, South Africa, in 2004. Thereafter, he proceeded to further his education at the University of Venda, Thohoyandou, South Africa, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy in 2008.

In 2018, he furthered his education to become a lawyer, where he obtained an LLB from the University of Witwatersrand. Lerato Moela has acquired several proficiency certificates in auditing and accounting. He worked as an internal auditor and fraud investigator for more than five years, and he has a great area of practice as an advocate in the various fields.
