Da Gifto Biography and Profile
Ndou “Da Gifto” Livhuwani is a popular DJ and producer from Tswinga Village outside Thohoyandou, Limpopo. He was a huge fan of the producer and DJ Da Capo and that was where everything started for him. And then, he fell in love with Afro Tech music.
Da Gifto Musical Career
Da Gifto journey into music began in 2008. He comes from a family of musician. In 2012, he had the amazing opportunity to share the stage with some big artists and DJs, like DJ Fresh, Lulo Cafe, Cassper Nyovest, DBN Gogo, and Shimza. He began producing his own music on a laptop while studying at the University of Venda in 2019.
In 2020, he made it to the Red Square DJ Knockout finals at Propaganda in Tshwane. He didn’t stop there. He also had the opportunity to wow the crowds at News Cafe in Thavhani Mall from 2020 to 2022 and Cabal Villa restaurant in Makwarela from 2022 to 2023. He released his deep house EP called Grateful in June, 2023. He is currently holding it down as a resident DJ at Exclusive Carwash in Vuwani, Limpopo. The Singer is also the CEO of DHF Records.

Da Gifto also holds a Criminal Justice Degree from the University of Venda.

The singer made his debut on 1st September 2023, with the song titled “Ngilimele”, the 8 minutes:51 seconds (8:51) track was released under DHF Records featuring several notable artists including Brandon Dhludhlu, Ohama Hani and Bakdraft SA. The song had over 2 million streams across several digital music platform including Apple Music, Spotify, Boomplay, Audiomack and Google Music.
