Boitumelo Oreabetse Thage is a 28 years old Activist, philanthropist, Author and politician. She studied Psychology at the University of South Africa and got into mainstream politics in 2021. She is the ANC candidate of ward 98 and a ANC BEC secretary of the same ward.

Boitumelo Oreabetse Thage is a philanthropist. She founded Second Chance in November, a charity Organisation that provides food, clothing, relief materials and educational support to young people and orphans.
Politics
Boitumelo Oreabetse Thage started her political career while still a student at the University of South Africa. She was an active member of the ANC youth League and ANC women league, a political structure that acted as a huge impact on the student representative council of the university.
Following her graduation from the university, she went into mainstream politics and was the representative of ANC’s councilor position at Ward 98 in 2021.
Cyber Bullying
On the 8 of January 2024, she was subjected to cyber bullying on Twitter after her post celebrating and pledging total alliance to the ANC went viral.

The post, which didn’t sit well with many of her followers who differ in political ideologies, unleashed the worst form of cyberbullying, body-shaming, and gave her undeserved negativity.
