Tyla Laura was born on 30th January 2002 in Johannesburg, South Africa. She loved music from her early age. Tyla came from a family of Zulu, Mauritian, Indian and Irish descent. Tyla came famous when she started posting out different dance and short music videos on TikTok and Instagram as well as sending out her contents to various managers and Label both Locally and Internationally.
On 25th October 2019, the singer released her debut single titled “Getting Late” featuring Kooldrink under FAX records, under the exclusive license to Epic Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment in the United States of America.
