Jovonta Patton was born on the 17th March, 1990 in Minneapolis, United States. He loved music at his early age. He started singing at the age of 4 at his local church Berean M.B. Church, and he began writing songs at 6. By the time, he was in middle school, Patton, displayed the gift of leadership and he was asked to revive the choir for a high school. Patton displayed an excellent leadership skills, he revived the choir group excellently well with a strong directory mindset. The momentum led him to discover Deliverance For Youth (DFY), a youth choir which was created to impact the lives of youth in the Midwest region.
Patton was ordained a minister of God. He started his Pop Up church called the “The wave”, the church was found to spread the Gospel of Christ across the globe, it is also a non-traditional church service that “pops up” around colleges, vacant spaces, parks to offer salvation to people.
