Lifesize Teddy also known as Banigo Apiafi Treasure is a young talented Nigerian rapper, poet, singer and songwriter. The singer was recently signed by the Chief Executive Officer of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, on the 9th August 2023.

Lifesize Teddy Early Life, Age and Career

Lifesize Teddy was born on 15th July, 2001 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Port Harcourt is the fifth most populous city in Nigeria, and it is the capital of Rivers State. It boasts of abundance natural resources which includes Oil and Gas Reserves, Coal, Arable Soil and several other mineral deposits. It is home to several popular artists including Burna Boy, Duncan Mighty, Omah Lay and several others.

Lifesize Teddy loved music from her early age. She started writing songs and poet at the age of Nine (9). She began rapping at the age of 12, the singer was greatly influenced by Kanye West’s Album titled “College Dropout” Released on 10 February 2004. The Singer was also inspired by popular artists across several genres from Brenda Fassie to Eminem to Eva Alordiah to Lucky Dube to Rihanna.

According to the singer, her inspiration and exposure to music from her early age was due to the influence of her Mom’s taste in variety of good music.
