Piesie Esther also known as Ohemma Esther is a talented Ghanaian Gospel artist, songwriter, music, producer and director. Piesie Esther was born into a Christian family with a strong relationship and commitment to God’s work. Piesie loved music from her early age, she was fond of writing gospels songs during her teenage age. Her talent drew the attention of several artists including the veteran Ghanaian Gospel music Georgia Adiei. Her musical career took a leaf when she joined popular Accra worship center called “Great Light Worship Center, Accra” headed by Rev. Asamoah Boateng.

Piesie Esther was born on 3rd June 1976 in Ghana. The singer was raised in a God fearing family with a strong desire and knowledge of God. She was attended her primary, secondary and tertiary education in Ghana. Piesie was referred to as a gifted child while growing up, she was attended several gospel music concert at her teenage age. This moulded her music skills and career.

Piesie Esther has consistently proven herself to be one of Ghanaian best gospel artist, her series of debut albums released over the years have gained her national and international recognition. She have earned several nominations some of which includes Gospel Artist of the year, Gospel Song of the year at the Ghana Music Award 2009 and several others. Her songs are spirit filled and inspirational blended with the mix of African culture, tradition and melodious rhymes.
Piesie is recognized globally and her efforts have yielded several positive results and awards including Best Motivational Song Award at the Ceval Gospel Awards 2009.
Piesie Esther won two awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) held 6th May, 2023. She won VGMA Gospel Artiste of the Year and the VGMA Best Gospel Song.

Piesie Esther is happily married to Enoch Asiedu. The couples got married at the Church of Pentecost, Santa Maris in May 2010 and they are currently blessed with four children.
She is also an influencer and role model to several young upcoming artists. She currently hosts several worship session around the world including UK, Canada, USA, South Africa, Nigeria, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Italy.
