Who is Pastor West?
Pastor West is a politician, pastor, televangelist, a minister of the gospel and the founder of Faith Empowered Ministries aka FEMINC located in Maryland, United States.
Biography
Pastor West, real name Westley West was born April 8, 1988 (Age 36) in Baltimore. Westley West came from a not so financially bouyant family and this background shaped several of his life choices. While his family struggled to stay above the poverty line, they never struggled to know what’s good and just, so right from his young days, he’s been prepared to lead and be a leader of people.
While in highschool, he began taking leadership roles while organising cells to propagate the gospel of Christ. In June of 2016, he was inaugurated as a pastor, and in that same year, he founded his own church, Faith Empowered Ministries (FEMINC).
FEMINC is a congregation of God’s children recognized for its innovative ministry, social engagement and community outreach. Over the years, Pastor West through FEMINC Church has continuously talked about violence prevention, community/police partnerships and educational advocacy.
Education
Pastor West holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Theology and Apologetics from Liberty University and a Master of Arts (MA) in Practical Theology from Ohio Christian University.
Relationship & Family
Pastor West is currently not married and he hasn’t revealed much of his relationship to the public, but he has a son with his ex, Jordon M West (Age 16).
Political Career
Aside been a pastor, Pastor West is also a politician. He ran unsuccessfully for 7th district Baltimore City Council.
Controversy
In 2020, Pastor West was arrested one of the men responsible for the attack on a FOX45 news crew during a protest over the murder of George Floyd.
Pastor Westley West was charged with five counts, including robbery, second-degree assault and theft under $25,000.
