Who is Moruti wa Dikota?
Moruti wa Dikota also known as Chepi Chepi is a comedian, MC, presenter and event organizer. He hails from Limpopo and he’s well known for his managerial skills that has seen him work with several notable figures including Skomota.
Involvement with Skomota
As a event organizer and personality, Moruti wa Dikota is good at spotting the greatness in people. He was the first to give Skomota the platform to shine and eventually rebranded him as soon the his fame started swelling.
Moruti wa Dikota handled all of skomota’s bookings in the most part 2023 till April of 2024 when Skomota ended all engagement with him due to alleged exploit. Not only was he involved with Skomota’s bookings, he was also involved in planning his day to day activities, medical checks and relations with people.
Accusations of Exploit & End of Skomota’s Partnership
Skhothane sa Pitiro, a friend of Skomota accused Moruti wa Dikota of exploiting the internet sensation and cornering all of his wealth. He made the revelation in an interview with Lipo podcast in April of 2024. That same week, Skomota was interviewed by Richy B & Leejoy, where he revealed that he was only paid R1000 by his manager, Moruti Wa Dikota despite him charging over R30k for bookings.
The following day, Skomota announced that he is ending all partnership with Moruti wa Dikota and that the former manger would no longer be in charge of his bookings.
