Walter Chilambo is a popular Tanzanian Gospel singer, songwriter, producer, minister and director. The singer came into fame after winning the 2012 Bongo Star Search (BSS) competitions. The Bongo Star Search premiered in 2006 on ITV. The program is popular Tanzania interactive musical TV sow. It presents a unique platform for youths in Tanzania to showcase their talents and musical strength. The Show has celebrated over 10 successful seasons.

Walter Chilambo was born on 13th March 1992 in Tanzania. The singer loved music from his early age, he was actively involved in various singing competitions at his teenage years. He began is musical career as a contemporary secular artist and singer. He encountered Jesus Christ in 2016 at Victory Christain Centre and ever since then the singer has been devoted to God’s activities and music. He wrote and recorded several gospel songs about the Love of God.

Listening to Chilambo just cleanses my soul. He is jus the badest gospel artist in the world in my opinion .
He is my all time favorite gospel artist, we are agemates so I feel every song touches me directly .wish I could talk to him.
