Thembi Seete Biography and Profile

Thembi Seete is a popular South African host, actress, singer, model, Onscreen personality, presenter, influencer and entrepreneur. Thembi is popularly known for her role in the Mzansi magic telenovela Gomora as “Gladys”, she was also a former member of Kwaiti group Boom Shaka.

In 2021, The actress was a guest judge of the 17th season of Mzansi Magic singing reality competition, Idol South Africa. In 2022 & 2023 Thembi Seete was also made the Judge of the South Africa Idols Season 18 and 19 respectively.

The actress is also a renowned entrepreneur with several chains of businesses including Beauty Spar, Salon “Azuri”, Comestics and Clothing line.

Thembi Seete Early Life and Age

Thembi Seete (Age 46) was born on the 25th of March 1977 in Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa. Thembi was raised in a humble background. The actress loved music, acting and singing from her early age.

Thembi grew up with her extended families in Sebokeng in Vaal. In 2014, she lost her dad to illness, when she just turned 37 and in 2021, she lost her Mother to Brain tumor.

Thembi Seete Career and Relationship

Thembi Seete started her career path in 1994, where she joined the kwaito supergroup called “Boom Shaka”. The entertainment group split in 2000. Immediately after leaving the Boom Shaka, Thembi Seete made her career debut in 2001 as a Minor rile in a Hijack Stories film.

The actress thereafter, joined the SABC1 drama series titled “Yizo Yizo”. She sang the theme song and soundtrack for the “Yizo Yizo Season 2”. The actress released her first debut album titled “Lollipop” in 2001.
