Nthabi Sings Early life, Profile and Age
Nthabi Sings was born August 25, 2000 (Age 24) and hails from Botshabelo, Free State and was raised in the township. She’s known as the Stargirl of the South African music industry.
Contrary to what some of you might have believed, Nthabi Sings grew up in a poor home. Her mother had her as a teenager, and because of that, her grandmother became the sole provider for both her and her mother. Unfortunately, they lost her grandmother by the time her mother turned 21. Life became even tougher for them, but despite this, they soldiered on.
Music has always been a part of Nthabi Sings. She became a music lover from an early age, and at the age of 3, she could sing along to songs playing on the radio. By the time she was 9, she could really sing.
Education
Our background often has a way of motivating us. Most people from poor backgrounds have to work harder because they know their survival depends on how much heart they put into whatever they pursue. While in high school, Nthabi Sings worked hard to achieve good grades to get into varsity. In fact, she excelled in matric, earning three distinctions: Maths, Physical Science, and Life Sciences.
Her success in the matric exams gained her easy admission to the University of Johannesburg to study Civil Engineering. In 2021 and 2022, she faced a series of setbacks due to the Covid pandemic, but she managed to persevere.
Nthabi Sings Career
She burst onto the scene with her first hit track called “Stimela,” which dropped on December 9, 2022, under Penya Play Productions. The song was a collaboration with 2Point1 and Ntate Stunna. And has garnered more than 100 million streams on various digital platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, Boomplay, Audiomack, and Google Music.
