Nandi Madida also known as Mngoma is a talented South African Singer, TV presenter, actress and model. In May 2023, she was announced the new host of Africa Now Radio on Apple Music. Aside having a successful on-screen personality, Nandi is an amazing singer and model. Her gift has drawn several awards including the 2020 South African Music Awards under the category of Best Collaboration with the song titled “Say U Will”.

Nandi Madida was born on born 20th March 1988 in Maphumulo, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She attended Danville Park Girls High School where she finished her secondary education. Thence, she proceeded to University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) where she obtained a degree in Law.

Although, She studied law Nandi has a strong passion for journalism and acting since her early age. She started her media career at the age of 15, where she got her first job as the host of South Africa Broadcasting Corporation 2 (SABC2) pre-teen entertainment show called “Bling”. The entertainment show was basically focused on teens program, music and movies.
Ever since then, Nandi has made significant improvement on her career path. She has released several hit singles over the years, some of which includes “Skhanda Love” released in 2014. The song was a hot song with over 5 million streams across several digital music platforms.
She hosted several programs including Proverb and Dineo Ranaka in the Mzansi Magic Magazine programme All Access Mzansi, e.tv reality series Coke Studio and the BET entertainment magazine show BET A-List.
