The 17-year-old singer got her breakthrough after a video of her singing in her High School Classroom went viral on Tiktok. The video by Naledi got the attention of global icons around the world, including Chris Brown who posted the video sample on his Instagram page which gained over 50 Million Views globally.
Chris Brown also featured her on his latest album titled “11:11,” released on November 2023, and ever since then, her popularity just continued to shoot through the roof.
Following the global recognition on Social Media, Naledi Aphiwe is currently one of the youngest female artist from South Africa that has enjoyed the positive publicity of Social Media engagement and it’s unlimited possibilities.

Naledi Aphiwe Myongwane (Age 17) was born on the 15th of December, 2006 in Durban, South Africa. Durban is a popular city located at KwaZulu-Natal province. It is popularly known for it’s African, British, Indian and colonial influences. It was one of the host cities for the 2010 World Cup, and it has great geological features including Seafront, Gardens and Natural parks.

Naledi Aphiwe made her debut appearance upon her viral video on Social Media in October 2022. The video was acknowledged by popular American superstar, Chris Brown. Brown posted her video on Instagram and captioned it “Incredible Voice.” From that moment on, the singer has enjoyed amazing opportunities and unprecedented opportunities.
The singer was also featured on Chris Brown’s latest studio album titled “11:11”, the album is the eleventh album by American singer Chris Brown, released on the 10th of November 10, 2023. The album “11:11” consist of a double album containing 11 tracks each.
Naledi Aphiwe, was featured on the track titled “Shooter”. The track “Shooter” on the “11:11” contains a sample of the young talented South African singer, Naledi Aphiwe singing. The collaboration earned Naledi $3000 which is equivalent to R55,030 South Africa Rand.
