D4vd’s alleged involvement in the disappearance of Celeste Rivas Hernandez has been a hot buzz across social media, this comes days after a body was found on a car that was registered to D4vd.
Background
On September 8, 2025, human remains were discovered at the boot of an impounded Tesla car that was registered to the name of D4vd, David Anthony Burke at Hollywood tow yard in Los Angeles.
The heavily decomposed body had been dismembered into several pieces and wrapped in a plastic bag inside the car’s front trunk. Police officers were alerted by passersby after a foul odor continued to emanate from the vehicle.
On September 18, the BBC, quoting US authorities, reported that an autopsy revealed the decomposing body found in a car was that of missing 15-year-old girl, Celeste Rivas Hernandez. However, the cause and time of her death could not be determined.
Who is Celeste Rivas Hernandez?
Celeste Rivas Hernandez, born on September 7, 2010 (aged 15), was reported missing in May 2024. She was last seen in Lake Elsinore, CA, wearing gray pants, a black sweater, a hat, and Hello Kitty sandals.
Although it was reported by Eyewitness News that she ran away from home a few times and returned before her last runaway in April 2024. She called home at the end of May and had not been heard from since.
Celeste’s Relationship with D4vd
Following the announcement that the decomposing body found in the car linked to D4vd was Celeste, social media users began speculating about the mysterious girl D4vd had often displayed on his accounts. From the comparisons made, some suggested that the girl, whose face was partially covered in his posts, may have been Celeste all along.
