Condolences: 5 years old Ditebogo Junior Phalane, killed by unknown hijackers

The South African law enforcement agency confirmed the death of a 5 years old boy on Friday evening after he had gone to welcome his Dad at 10:28pm.

Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo who is the police spokesperson described the incident as an horrible one. He said the armed suspects allegedly ambushed the father’s Toyota bakkie and shot the boy.

Masondo said police the police has started an extensive investigation to uncover the criminals behind the wicked act. He said the police has opened a case of murder and hijacking and were searching for the suspects.

As condolences continue to pour in for the family of fatally shot 5 year old Ditebogo Junior Phalane, Premier of Gauteng Panyaza Lesufi visited the family of Ditebogo Phalane.

Premier Lesufi says that the state of crime in the country needs an emergency response and the necessary resources. The Mayor of the City of Tshwane Cilliers Brink and DA Gauteng Premier Candidate Solly Msimanga also visited the family to offer their condolences.
