Chronical Deep is a Renowned South African Producer, singer, vocalist, DJ and Songwriter of Deep House and AfroTech genre. Chronical Deep is a popular well-known artist for his amazing contemporary dance music in South Africa.
The singer has a national recognition in his home country with the release of his highly successful Deep House track, Neo in released on the 7th of November, 2019 under Blur Records. Chronical Deep amazing music performances has proved himself as a Legend in Deep House music and his exquisite productions are unbeatable placing him as one of the Best all-round artist in South Africa.
On the 5th of May 2023, Chronical released his most anticipated project titled “Light”. The album is a 11 tracklist which reflects inspiration, positivity and it contains very powerful healing words. The project was released under KOMPLEX KE Records and it has gained over 5 million streams across several digital platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, Boomplay, Audiomack and Google Music.
Chronical Deep Early Life, Career and Age
Chronical Deep (age 30) is a Versatile artist and producer born and raised in Free State, QwaQwa, South Africa. QwaQwa is a popular town in Bantustans, South Africa. QwaQwa derived her name from a white Sandstone hill dominating the area. It’s name meaning “Whiter than White”.
Chronical Deep loved music from his early age. His family and households consists of intellectuals, lawyers, doctors and music enthusiasts. Young Thabo, was the name his parents called him because of his determination from his early age.
His mother, an African National Congress (ANC) Lawyer, was a lover of Pan-Africanism musical heroes such as legendary Nigerian Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, Bob Marley and Jamaica’s Peter Tosh. His grandmother on otherhand has a strong affection for Dance music that emanated from Africans in the US. Young Thabo, got interested in his grandmother’s dance music hits from Gloria Gaynor, Donna Summer and Diana Ross.
Thabo started learning different musical instruments at the age of 8, then by 16 he got his first laptop which he learnt Music Production and DJ software. At 17, Deep began DJing in his local communities parties, birthday functions and other social gatherings.
Chronical Deep is the Co-founder of WayUpMusic and he was a former member of the Godfathers of Deep House music South Africa. Chronical has worked with several local and international artists including the likes of Woltha, Sbudah, Kali Mija, Don Scott, King Touch,Tahir Jones and the Godfathers of Deep House South Africa.
