Senzelwe Mtshali is a comedian, content creator, actor, and the founder of Senzelwe Productions. He is famously known for his viral Spider-Man moments, particularly one in which he was chased by local dogs and was unable to use his Spider-Man magic (pun intended).

Background and Biography

Senzelwe Mtshali hails from Empangeni in KwaZulu-Natal. The Age 20 content creator, who is known for his engaging content, began his career while still in high school, although on a minimal level.

Back then, he would organise his friends and have them act out scenes from popular movies. However, he rarely recorded these moments, as they were something he did mainly for fun and to while away the time.

Upon his admission to Mangosuthu University of Technology, he began taking his career more seriously. With the exposure that the university provided, coupled with the brilliant minds he interacted with, he started recording his content more consistently. His videos ranged from short clips of a few minutes to longer productions that sometimes lasted half an hour.

Utilising the exposure that social media provides, he uploaded his videos to Facebook. Before long, he began gaining traction, with his videos amassing thousands and, in many cases, millions of views.

Viral Moment

Senzelwe Mtshali went viral after a Spider-Man video showed him being chased by local dogs. The dogs eventually left him alone after he shouted, “voetsek.”

The video was viewed by millions of people and reportedly reached 50 million views within just a few days on Facebook, while garnering nearly one million likes.

Senzelwe Mtshali did not stop there. While still wearing his Spider-Man outfit, he went to a river stream and helped schoolchildren cross over so that their shoes and socks would not get wet.
