Xolani Khumalo Biography and Profile
Xolani Khumalo (age 34) is a popular South African TV presenter, Influencer, Philanthropist, activist and Founder of the Xolani Khumalo foundation.
Xolani being a former drug addict, believes that the youths are the future of South Africa. He was inspired to educate the youths on the dangers of being addicted to hard drugs. Xolani having a firsthand experience in the devastating effects of hard drugs on the youth in his local community (Tembisa), has promised to expose the drug Lords in the community that sells hard drugs thereby destroying the Country’s Dreams and Future.
Xolani is the founder of Xolani Khumalo foundation, which is a nonprofit organization that fights corruption, drug abuse and crimes at the grassroot level. The goal of the organization is to achieve a society free from drugs and crime.
Xolani is one of the lead TV personality on Sizokuthola. Sizokuthola which means “We will get them” in Zulu is an anti-crime reality show of Moja Love channel, broadcasts every Sunday. The show curtails confronting suspected drug dealers and providing a solution to free drug addicts of their addictions.
Xolani Khumalo Controversies and alleged crime
Xolani Khumalo has been allegedly involved in the death of a man suspected to be involved in drug dealings. The incident occured in July 2923, during the filming of Sizokuthola. The deceased Mr. Robert Varrie was pronounced dead after series of alleged physical confrontation and interrogation by Xolani and his team.
According to reports, Xolani and his team allegedly tortured the man using physical violence and force to reveal more hard drugs in his house. They further, transported him to Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital in Vosloorus, South Africa where he was strangled and killed in the hospital.
However, Xolani Khumalo has denied all the allegations against him. He said he is innocent of the crime levelled against him. In a statement released by his foundation, it states that Xolani Khumalo and his team are professionals in handling all drug related enquires.
It further states that they operate according to the laid down protocols and standard operating procedures when engaging in security details from drug sellers and they rely on the law enforcement agencies to act with equity and fairness.
The South African TV Channel, Moja Love Channels, has officially terminated the deal with Xolani Khumalo and his crew. This is to facilitate the investigation of the alleged murder of a drug seller while being interrogated by the Sizokuthola crew members.
In September 2023, Xolani Khumalo turned himself in at the Katlehong North Police Station for further interrogation and to clear his name.
