Godfrey Maledi, professionally known as Officixl Rsa, is a South African Amapiano DJ and record producer. Born on March 1, 2005, he grew up in Kwamhlanga with both his parents. He attended Kwamhlanga High School but left in Grade 11, stating, “I wasn’t interested in education, and I wasn’t gifted.” Officixl Rsa began his DJ career at 15 and started producing music at 16, experimenting with different genres.
In 2022, he released his debut track “DRUMMONADES,” which marked the beginning of his rise to fame, gaining him about 5% of the spotlight. He has primarily performed in Northwest, where he gradually gained more attention and engagement.
On January 12, 2023, he dropped the single “Yah Yah Yah,” featuring Benzoo, De Papzo, and Mid9t, which reached #1 on YouTube’s Top 10 Chart. Following that, he released another single, “Al Fransisco,” collaborating with DeepXplosin, Mellow, Sleazy, and Kingtone SA. He was also featured on Mr JazziQ’s track “Baya Hlanya.”
