Liyema Phantsi popularly known as Liema, is a talented South African R&B singer, songwriter, vocalist, artist and housemate of the Big Brother Mzansi season 4 reality TV show.

Liema is widely regarded as the most beautiful housemate in the Big Brother Mzansi house. Prior to joining the show, she was a student and bartender at a local outlet in Eastern Cape. Liyema Phantsi Age and Early Life

Liyema Phantsi was born on the 25th of January 2002 (Age 22) in Qonce, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Liyema lived most of her life in King William’s Town/Qonce, and coming from a Christian home, she has always been involved in music, leading choirs, and participating in her school’s musical band.

While growing up, Liema was known as a focused and goal-oriented child. She passionately displayed her zeal for entertainment, singing and acting.

Liyema Phantsi was a great embassador of West Bank Secondary and her creativity inspired lots of young students.

Liyema Phantsi Career

During her 4th grade, she started singing at her local church choir and family gatherings, which earned her the name, ‘Harmony’, due to her amazing vocals. She was a lead vocalist in her church and school choir. She won several music competition. In 2020, she entered the Idols, making it to the group stage of the competition.

On November 25th 2022, the singer made her debut with the song titled “Ain’t worth it,” released under Africa Unite Records. The song had over 3k streams across several digital platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, Boomplay, Audiomack and Google Music.
