The victim’s mom report

The mom shared that the pastor had a close relationship with her and her children. He acted as a father figure, driving them to church and accompanying them to other church events. The mom and the pastor had a slightly close relationship as he would assist her at the church. Unfortunately, she later discovered that he had been preying on her daughter. The mom revealed that he allegedly touched her daughter inappropriately on multiple occasions, both in the car and in their house when she was in a different room. She mentioned that the pastor would compliment her daughter, expressing his love for her and wanting to be with her. He even requested inappropriate photos.
The mom expressed her deep disappointment and anger, saying, “I trusted him, my kids trusted him. I brought him into our home, and when I learned about the things he had been doing, I was devastated. It continued until my daughter couldn’t bear it anymore, and she bravely shared her traumatic experiences with that man. I’m relieved that he’s now behind bars, but it’s heartbreaking to think about how many other children he may have harmed.”

The mom also mentioned that she has received confessions from other victims who have shared similar stories about Apostle Jackson’s alleged assaults. She emphasized the need for him to be held accountable as an example to other dishonest pastors. Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo confirmed that a case has been opened at Protea Glen Police Station, and the 42-year-old man has been arrested. He is expected to appear before Protea Magistrates Court on Monday, April 8, 2024. It’s important to support the victims and ensure justice is served.
