Alchemy Of Souls is undoubtedly one of the most intriguing K-drama Series in modern times. The show had wonderful casts, amazing chemistry and impressive storyline. Guys, it was indeed a roller coster ride of emotions but ended beautifully.
The season 2 of the show which recently ended with its 10th episode spent several weeks inside of Netflix’s global top ten, topping the 5th position at its peak.
Alchemy of Souls season 2 which was tagged Light and shadow had an almost perfect ending and while some viewers might be disappointed that Naksu didn’t get the chance to use her power, she was able to take her revenge and the main villain, Jin Mu failed in his plots to summon another ice stone.
Jang UK on the other hand was again given the golden opportunity to spend the rest of his life with his lover, Naksu and even though Seo Yul ended up having the blood parasite safely removed from his body, he seems to be the biggest loser as his close friend So-i passed away trying to save him and he once again failed to be with Naksu who was already madly in love with Jang UK.
With the season 2 over, fans are already asking if there will be another season and this here is what we think the season 3 will be all about.
Although Netflix hasn’t confirmed that there will be a season 3 yet, we can never truly rule something out until it’s official. Come to think of it, with Jin Mu’s threat been quelled and Naksu’s fate been conclusively dealt with, there isn’t anything much to expect from a third season but again, the Hong sisters (Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran) have this knack for extending storylines and we can bet that this is won’t be the last time we’ll visit Daeho.
In a possibility of a new season, The Alchemy of Souls 3 will be far more intriguing than previous seasons.
The season 3 will see Jang Uk and Naksu fight to catch the relics that escaped from Jinyowon as a result of the fire bird been taken by Jin Mu.
Since Heo Yun-ok is aware that Naksu is a soul shifter and considering the fact that she has always wanted to be with Jang UK, she might want to reveal the secret to the world. Despite the truth that Naksu is a victim, everyone in Daeho see her as a villain and her presence being known would trigger an unrest. With Jang UK being a Soul Shifter hunter, will he be able to fulfill his obligations?
Also with the fact that Jin Ho-gyeong currently has no heir since Jin Cho-Yeon is married to Park Dang-gu and basically Jin Buyeon is just an empty shell reborn with Jin Seolran soul which is currently been occupied by Naksu, the existence of Jinyowon is currently been threatened.
